Welcome to the next chapter of the Liberty story.

Established in June 2026, the Liberty STEAM Charter School Foundation exists to expand opportunity and ensure that every child along South Carolina’s I-95 corridor has access to a world-class education that leads to hope, purpose, and prosperity. As Liberty STEAM Charter School entered its next phase of growth under the leadership of Superintendent Dr. Brenda Hafner, Co-Founder Dr. Trevor Ivey transitioned on July 1, 2026, from day-to-day school operations to serve as the Foundation’s inaugural President & CEO.

Building upon Liberty’s nationally recognized success, the Foundation is focused on three priorities: growing philanthropic support, advancing the development of an Early College and Technical High School model, and advocating for innovative educational solutions that help transform communities once defined by limited opportunity into a thriving Corridor of Hope & Opportunity.

Together with generous donors, community partners, and advocates, we are committed to creating pathways that change lives for generations to come. The best is yet to come.
