Welcome to the first step in your scholar's future. We are honored by your interest in Liberty STEAM Charter School! LSC is a public charter school located in Sumter, SC that offers a STEAM-focused, project-based, and personalized learning model that is innovative and unlike any other school in South Carolina. LSC is open and tuition-free to all children with no special requirements for admittance, serving scholars from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Although we do not have any admission exams or interviews to admit scholars, we use a random, automated lottery when there are more scholars interested in attending than available classroom space.
