Dear Liberty Families,

The 2025-2026 school year was the strongest in Liberty STEAM Charter School's history, and it belongs to all of us: our scholars, families, VIPs, Board, and community partners. Before you dive into the full report, here is a look at what we accomplished together.

A record-setting year for our scholars:

• Met 15 of our 16 organizational goals

• Earned our first South Carolina Department of Education rating of "Good" and Cognia Accreditation with Distinction

• 7 of 10 scholars finished the year on grade level in reading and math

• 100% of scholars joined the Millionaires Club by reading one million words

• Served 914 scholars across three academies, five counties, and 17 zip codes

Growing stronger, together:

• Expanded our PATH career program to 38 business and industry partners

• Welcomed Dr. Brenda Hafner as Superintendent and advanced plans for our Early College & Technical High School in partnership with Central Carolina Technical College

• Families gave 11,159 volunteer hours to support our scholars

• Ended the year with 1,489 scholars on our waitlist as we prepare to welcome 150 new Kindergarten scholars and expand to sixth grade
