All nine members of the LSC Founding Board of Directors officially completed the statute-required board member orientation certification facilitated by the Public Charter Alliance of South Carolina.
The training included topics such as: effective charter boards, holding productive meetings, board member responsibilities, student achievement, charter finance & fiscal responsibilities, hiring for success and legal compliance.
